At G8 we focus on creating a Long-term partnership with landowners that is based in Honesty and reliability. First, we assess the suitability of the land for solar at no cost to the landowner. Next, we work up an agreement based on the landowners needs for the land and how much will be used in development. The land lease details are discussed with both landowners and their legal counsel until they are comfortable with every aspect of the agreement.

Not every site is feasible to host a BESS Project, here you have a list of minimum requirements that your land will need to meet:

Around 2 Ha of land available.
Be near or adjacent to a Power Line.
Other requirement that will require assessments from G8 Energy.

What do you need to get started on your solar farm or BESS lease?

Partnering with G8 Energy is a streamlined, transparent process designed to maximise your land’s value while minimising your risk. We specialise in identifying and developing high-performing solar assets that benefit both the landowner and the local grid.

We assess your land at no cost to you. We look for proximity to three-phase power lines and substations among other factors.

Provide the results of a land assessment to you. If it makes sense for us to invest in your land, then we offer you an Agreement to lease your property. If we cannot develop your land now, it may make sense later. We will keep you in our database and contact you if it changes.

Once you signed the Agreement to lease, we will start getting the necessary approval from the local council and network provider, for the development application and the grid connection. This process has cero cost for you.
